is this for setting up the KMS to it receiving and authing registrations? or just trouble shooting the client.

@FN-GM's script is a good place to start as if the SID keys for your machines are the same this would cause a problem as each machine needs to be different for the process to be completed.

when you say product key not found was that on the client or the server?

hmmm so the KMS key isnt installed on the server or activated by the server.

id go back and check that you have installed and acitvated the key on the KMS server using slmgr.
i found a page of notes which i made to help me including some the KMS activation ids which are on the ms technet site if you want me to send them to you?

Ok, im following the video. First question, when im activating the server as a KMS host, what key should i be using there?!

Cus if i do the ato bit "Product activated successfully" but then when i do the dlv bit a second time like the video, it doesnt produce the same output as the video, just says the initial info...

You should use your provided KMS key.

So i put win7 one in i get

By the looks of it my Office is now there but just not enough clients calling yet, but i dont see anything similar Windows...

Has everyone given up on me?! lol

I have both looking like they are setup on the host. The Office KMS has received client requests but the Windows 7 one hasnt yet...ive set the interval to 15 minutes for now to whilst im testing.

Office 2010 and W7 have diferent KMS keys, you need to put the 2008r2 kms b key on a 2008 serve which will activate it and set it as a kms, use slmgr.vbs /dlv to show information. If your using W7 Enterprise it will already look for a KMS server, use slmgr.vbs /ato to activate from an elevated command prompt.
