Morning,
we are currently conducting a site wide test with office 2010.
we WDS to image our machines and we have office 2010 installed on our base images.
I can run a run once reg key to activate office 2010, but when you log into the machine and run an office application it tells me i need to active office 2010 on line.
does anybody know of a way this can be done acroos our site without going to every machine?

Install a KMS or use VAMT and do proxy activations.
KMS server would best as you can just setup (and leave). KMS servers require the machines to report back every 180 days I think. Just be carefull what product keys you use in your image etc.
25 Windows 7 clients need to register with the KMS server to activate the KMS server, noty sure how many Office 2010 clients you'd need but once its setup it shouldn't bother you again.
as long as you have a kms key id go that route its set and forget unless the pcs will be offsite for extended (over 6 months) periods of time

both vamt 2.0 and kms for office 2010 are avaliable free from ms (google is your friend)
my KMS is not activating office how many office clients do i need?
