and [MS Office - 2003] conversion and replication
We have just one truly mobile laptop which will be used between home and school.
It has Windows 7 and Office 2010 on it while the rest of the network is XP/Office 2003.
The user has standalone Outlook 2003 that she's been using on a desktop, but needs Outlook to be on the laptop in 2010. Once converted the user won't ever be using Outlook on any of the other school PCs.
Already the Outlook 2003 .pst is in her Home Drive which will be replicated to the laptop.
What is the best way of converting her Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2010?
I have heard that there are issues surrounding replication and Outlook .pst files... is this going to be a problem? If it won't replicate, it won't backup.
