Switched the old laptop on this morning, booted up email as usual and got the stupid "not implemented" warnings again, so anyway, i ran a repair, havent fixed it.
So had a look at the installer and for some reason outlook 2007 has now disappeared from my machine, when i try to run the installer and add remove states that outlook is not available?
I have no clue whats going on with it and i cant seem to find the pst folders that store my email..
Any help would be much appreciated!
Running windows 7 pro
Does the red X just not mean that its not due to be installed. If you click on it, does it not give you a dropdown of other options to choose?
Sorry my apologies, should have mentioned that.
Whereas usually you get run from my comp, run all from my comp, insalled on first use & not available, all i have for outlook is not available, no other choices at all which is where im stumped.
Try just uninstalling office completely, and then reinstalling it from scratch?
Got it, the reason is cause i had 2003 outlook installed also.
Have been having issues with office for a while when i was getting a junk email filter update, this might have been the same issue.
Resolved by uninstalling office 2k3 and then rerunning the setup for 2k7, all solved now and my emails back
*quickly makes a backup ;)*
aye, 2003 and 2007 dont play nice at all.. I cant wait for 2010 next week so I can start getting rid of 2003 completely.
