I tend to use this has always been simply for me to use not sure how well it works with vista as i have only tried it with xp

Another vote for Irfanview. I use the batch function a lot for cutting pics to fit onto my phone/PDA.

Irfanview, without a doubt. It has a minimal footprint on your computer and is very easy to use. One of the best bits of freeware ever.
I found fotosizer too !! Thats really good, just be carefull to untick the extra tool bars which come with it.

My personal favorite is Xnview, have used it for years, supports batch processing.
This program is some of the best freeware available, the support for custom plugins is amazing too have been using it for a while now and its quick and simple to use. We are using irfanview here for batch processing tho, reducing those 20meg bmps people love to create :(Quote:
