CSV Calendar Export from Outlook
I am hoping someone can help to clarify the following...
We are running Outlook 2010, running off an Exchange 2003 server (not that I think this matters).
Every year we carry out a CSV export of our main school calendar, which is in turn given to the company that manage our website to import into an online calendar. They haven't, up till now, had a facility to automatically sync between the two.
However we noticed that there is a problem with calendar events that are marked as an "all day event". The event displays correctly in Outlook, but when exported to CSV, the start date and end dates are different. For example:
Bank Holiday, All day event, 27/05/13
Start Date - 27/05/13
Subject - Bank Holiday
Start Time - 00:00:00
End Time - 00:00:00
End Date - 28/05/13
All day event - TRUE
Am I right in assuming that the exported data is correct, and that actually there is no problem with the way Outlook/Exchange is handling the export? Interestingly I notice that when sending an appointment request via Outlook, the email contains similar information regarding the start date and end date (although once accepted, it appears correctly in the Outlook calendar).
Is it therefore a problem with the way the website company is interpreting the data their end, when importing it into their own calendar system.
