Does anyone know if there is a switch or something whereby the startup wizard for outlook can be disabled? (in the event of several users all using outlook on the same machine, its annoying with the startup wizard opening each time)

Wait..scratch that, think I found a way.
would be nice if you posted what way you'd found to do it, in case other people do a search to do exactly the same thing.
My guessing is that you found a GPO or something to set it up for you?
Other possibility could be that you have redfox outlook roaming client set up on each machine which does it for you? Is quite a handy program for automated setup...
In the end I used the CIW/CMW tool from the outlook 2003 resource kit to create an MST file for updating the office installation. Once I had created the MST file to the settings I wanted, problem was solved.
Sorry to dig this up but I cant find the option mentioned in the last post. I have the Office Resource kit and I've tried making a file to change some settings that I think it is but still cannot get the wizard disabled.
Don't suppose you can remember the exact options you chose?
Crikey...its been so long, afraid I cant remember how I did it off the top of my head. When I get the chance today I will try and run back through it and see if I can remember.
I've got a terrible memory for stuff longer than 2 weeks ago, and an even more terrible habit of not documenting stuff![]()
