Office 2010 Change Key and Activate after Install
Hi Guys,
Just wondering if anyone can help I have a school with about 60 wireless netbooks I had to install office 2010 just before the holidays but I did not get around to inserting the product key. I know if i fire them all up i can use MVAT but i was wondering if anyone knew of maybe a script that could be used to save me having to get them all together ??
Thanks
Ste

Depending on your licensing:
KMS -> Setup a KMS server
MAK -> Startup script:
cscript <Office14>\ospp.vbs /inpkey:<insert key>
cscript <office14>\ospp.vbs /act

20th April 2012, 09:54 AM #5 You could use VAMT to assign license keys. But the best choice as other people have said would be a KMS server. Using VAMT you can also select multiple machines and install product keys/activate on mass, as long as said machines are on of course.
Look into a KMS server but make sure you use the correct keys for both the servers and clients to save any agro. Once you get the KMS service up and running and as long as you use the correct keys in your deployment, server etc there should be little intervention needed in future. It SHOULD jus work :-S
