Cmd line Loop and stop a ppt presentation

Going to get the kids to create some powerpoints for me to display and I want to schedule them to start at the begiinging of the daty and finish when they finish. Is there a command line option so that the presentation will loop continuously once started and then what command could I use to stop the presentation? Using PowerPoint XP version.

Create a script which calls the PowerPoint on view mode waits xxx seconds then kills the process

I'll have a play tomorrow and see what I can come up with

Should just be a command line option to start a ppt which I've found but not got chance to see if it just loops then I need another command line option to kill the process or shut it down nicely, two scheduled tasks as far as I see it.

to kill it you just want
    Code:
    taskkill powerpnt.exe
(i think thats what its called)

i assume if you setup in the powerpoint in options to continually loop until exit it should do that.

    EDIT: i think you want
    Code:
    "c:\program files\microsoft office\office12\POWERPNT.exe" /S "Presentation1.pptx"
