    Compress mutiple PST files

    Hi

I hope someone can help. We have several very large PST files way over 1gb and in real need to be compressed. Does anyone know of a program that can batch compress several PST at once.

    Thanks in advance

Also really have no money to spend

    Hello

Are you wanting to use the files while they are compressed?

If so, you could move them into a compressed folder, which would make them smaller them but leave them accessible by Outlook (not sure what that would do to performance though)

If you're just wanting to archive them, then you could use 7-zip, which is free, and which would allow you to use a command line like:

    "C:\Program Files (x86)\7-Zip\7z.exe" a MyArchivedPSTfiles.7z *.pst

I've used PSTCompress to do this in the past. It's not free, but it is very cheap ($9.99 / £6.11).

If your PST file reaches its size limit, then you cannot add more data to it. You can reduce the size by compacting PST file. Deleting items from PST file automatically compresses file in background. You can also compact files manually. Read this blog post - Solution to Compact PST File | Bela. N Blog

You will get more than one solution in this post.
