Stop Word 2007 running the Configuration process
Does anyone know how to stop word 2007 running the configuration process and taking 2 minutes to load if you have run word 2003?

I'm guessing the only reason they've requested Office 2003 and Office 2007 to be installed on the same machine is because of the UI differences.
I would install Office 2007 on all whiteboard machines, along with this little tool which'll re-create the classic menus on Office 2007. On machines with Office 2003 installed, I recommend you install the Compatibility Pack MSI, so docx files can be opened anywhere.

Has anyone that is running both version across their network had any problems when users migrate between the two types? eg opening outlook 2007 on one pc and reading your mail, then logging into another station with outlook 2003?
The reason I ask is that a year or so back we tried this and all the rules got corrupted by changing between version.
