Question Video not playing in powerpoint

    Hi
I am trying to embed a video in a powerpoint slide show and for some reason it won't play when you click onto the slide.
It has been working fine up until the end of last week.
Now when you click on the slide, it goes to start then goes to a blank white screen.
The format off the video is WMV and I've tried in in Office XP and Office 2007.
HAs anyone come across this problem recently?

Have you moved the powerpoint file or the video file. If you have, then ppt won't know where to find it.

No I haven't touched the file.
This happened to another powerpoint, so I recreated the video clip and reinserted it but still get the same error.

make sure the default program to play wmv files is windows media player, also open up media player to ensure its already been run once and is working.

I've found out what the problem was. It was because the file name for the video clip was too long.
As soon as I renamed the file to a shorter name and re-inserted it it worked fine.
