    DISASTER!

    Hey guys

Switched the old laptop on this morning, booted up email as usual and got the stupid "not implemented" warnings again, so anyway, i ran a repair, havent fixed it.

So had a look at the installer and for some reason outlook 2007 has now disappeared from my machine, when i try to run the installer and add remove states that outlook is not available?

I have no clue whats going on with it and i cant seem to find the pst folders that store my email..

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Running windows 7 pro

Does the red X just not mean that its not due to be installed. If you click on it, does it not give you a dropdown of other options to choose?

Try just uninstalling office completely, and then reinstalling it from scratch?

Got it, the reason is cause i had 2003 outlook installed also.

Have been having issues with office for a while when i was getting a junk email filter update, this might have been the same issue.

Resolved by uninstalling office 2k3 and then rerunning the setup for 2k7, all solved now and my emails back

    *quickly makes a backup *
