Office Software Thread, Heading 2, Heading 3 etc in Technical; I cant for the life of me figure out how to get the Heading 2 and Heading 3 styles to ...

    Heading 2, Heading 3 etc

    I cant for the life of me figure out how to get the Heading 2 and Heading 3 styles to show.. Ive used them before loads but not in a while and cant remember where I found them..

    Any ideas?

    In 03: Sometimes you need to select "more" from the drop down and on the panel that pops up select the "Available formatting" or "All Styles" in the Show dropdown.

    not 100% sure, just what i saw when i looked @ office 2007 on my machine here. but dont think heading 3 exists, heading 2 appears to be on the first row by default.. if not see image attached.

    awesome thanks.. clicking to expand then apply styles, then clicking on heading 2, made heading 3 appear as well.. Simple when you know how. ;p

    If you are stuck when bit are in Office 2007, Microsoft have some handy interactive guides.

    Word 2003 to Word 2007 interactive command reference guide


    Just click what you used to do and it will show you step by step how to do it in the 2007 version....

    We download these for staff who were having trouble doing bits. There are others for the rest of the office suite.

    Ive not used 2003 for about 4 years couldnt remember where anything in that was. Been using 2010 for tthe last 6 months and 07 before that, but cheers
