We are doing a new btec (i think!) course for IT this year and one of the modules needs them to create a password protected file in excel. The IT teacher has just come to me and said it needs a service installing for it to work.
After me trying to do it on my machine it is telling me i have to sign up for the Information Rights Management Service using my windows live ID! Is there any way round this?
Thanks
Dan

You can then specify a password to open and one to modify.
