    I like Faststone image resizer

It does lots of other stuff besides resizing (and it's free :-))

Another vote for Irfanview. I use the batch function a lot for cutting pics to fit onto my phone/PDA.

I used Free Image Resize Software Import organize resize photos- VSO when I used vista. Integrates into the context menu the way the xp powertoy does. Its free for personal use.

Irfanview, without a doubt. It has a minimal footprint on your computer and is very easy to use. One of the best bits of freeware ever.

This program is some of the best freeware available, the support for custom plugins is amazing too have been using it for a while now and its quick and simple to use. We are using irfanview here for batch processing tho, reducing those 20meg bmps people love to create

    Free Online Image Resizer

I found a free online image resizer called QuickResizer Image Resizer. If you are away from your PC and don't want to download any software, you can just use this online version for free. It's quick and it's easy to use.

You can also download their full version of QuickResizer image resizer if you want to resize multiple files in a folder with just a click of the mouse.
