Visually looks very similar to Office 2007, just as Windows 7 looks a lot like Vista. It's scheduled for a 2010 release which would be about right; if Microsoft release Windows 7 at the end of 2009 or early 2010.

Looking good and glad its got the ribbon interface on all applications, a good time to look at moving over in schools then as thats one thing that has held me back going that students and staff may get muddled up and confused with having the 2 different interfacs

Well, we can only speculate on release dates but I agree, Microsoft do change like the wind when it comes to release dates. Just ironic they use the phrase a lot "we'll release it when it's ready and we're committed to quality".

Someone at Microsoft must of had too many JD's when Vista was released...

Well spotted. They probably envisioned the headlines "Office 13 Unlucky For All" when it goes t1tsup and are keen to avoid such press ;p

I'm not really bothered what version I use as long as it works lol
If I have to hunt about for a better faster feature then so be it. I've always liked 2008 for the way it allows you to see something properly before you apply it, saves so much time and effort.
