Hi guys,
Need to check the full access/revision of a certain excel file. I know I read once there was a utility somwhere that digs deeper into the file to find its true revision history from creation onwards. There was a story that went with it, some official government document that was ripped off from the yanks etc etc and was proven via this method.
I can see in properties when it was created, last accessed and modified, but need to go further. Very important file was edited and just need to see who by.
Cheers
Ben

most office documents store the last saved by name in the properties tab. I think the program your thinking of was called Antiword(dos based) or something and from what i remember focused on word documents only.
I just tested the windows version of antiword and gave me no useful information so maybe this is worth a look http://www.metadatarisk.org/download...t_overview.htm
