    KMS Activation Sysprep

    Hi,

    I believe there is a kind of sysprep to run on an image that has Office 2010 installed? This is so it will activate with a KMS server once you have deployed the image.

    What is this called please?

    Thanks

    Depends on how you have kms set up. You can run a vbs script in program files as long as you add the kms server. I think its called ospp.vbs. You can add this to a script/task sequence.

    It should be in Program Files - Microsoft Office - Office14 (I think for 2010 it's Office15 in 2013)

    I run this batch file and then capture my image. Both Windows and Office activate off of a KMS server fine with this;

    Code:
     @echo off
    echo This script will reset Microsoft Office 2010 activation re-arm
    echo and then launch sysprep for Microsoft Windows 7.
    echo.
    echo If you are sure you want to do this,
    pause
    echo.
    echo.
    "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OfficeSoftwareProtectionPlatform\OSPPREARM.exe"
    echo.
    echo.
    echo *IMPORTANT!* Check the status above.
    echo If you are happy to launch sysprep,
    pause
    echo.
    echo.
    "C:\Windows\System32\sysprep\sysprep.exe"
    exit
