Hi, I have a working FOG server on Ubuntu, with a Win2k server running DHCP, XP clients. FOG works fine, and clients can PXE boot to the FOG server ok.
However, I have a new machine I need to image with FOG, but the machine gets an "ARP Timeout PXE-11" error when it trys to PXE boot. Having tried other machines, they can boot fine. However the new machine, an Acer Veriton M464, doesn't want to do it. I've had the same make/model machines booting fine before.
Any ideas? The fact that other machines are working fine points to the Acer PC being the issue.
I might take the drive out, plug it into another PC of the same spec, and FOG it from there.
itsprobably going to be an kenel issue, i've seen it on old machines where the kernel doesnt have drivers for pxe booting. you could try downloading an older or newer kernel and assign it to that host via the interface.
