Marvell NICs \ WinPE

I really really hate this company!

Trying to image the Samsung NC10s we've been working on, done the usual drill in SMS creating the capture CD and placing the additional drivers in the package.

Boot up the netbook, WinPE loads but the NIC is dead the whole time, no flickering lights at all as if the NIC won't start. Only way to get it to power on before Windows is to PXE boot then soft-reset at the BIOS but even then it doesn't work in WinPE.

Anyone had issues with these before and any solutions?

Phewwww got it...

Had a spare NC10 with its original image on, older version of the drivers which we extracted for starters.

Then had a stroke of genius :p

Noticed that if you PXE boot it livened the card up so instead of booting from CD served the Capture CD ISO up over RIS so the card was talking all the way through and once into SMS Capture Wizard it kept on going :D

Veyr vey relieved, was just geting ready to set up a 160GB caddy and disk clone old skool style :bowl:
