Has anyone considered how to use FOG with teachers laptops? In particular how to deal with teachers taking the machines off the network when they are set to PXE boot?

Surely they'll still work OK; they'll just take a bit longer to start up (but you can press Escape when they start the PXE process)
Why not set them to boot from disc and then just use F12 (or whichever key) to do a network boot when you actually need to PXE them?
That prevents the unattended operation in FOG from working.
@Geoff: Surely the same problem exists with desktops - people can unplug them too!
They only need to PXE boot when you've set them a task to run, which is usually just an image. I don't think you really want to image a laptop unless it's attended by a techie at the time, in which case it's not an issue because your techie will plug it in.
Does that answer the question?
Thats true, i dont have auto pxe booting, allways trigger it myself. The only school that did have it, the base unit bieng used for FOG died and then all the machine hung for ages on boot waiting for the PXE Menu
