Deploying SIMS via SCCM 2012?
Just trying to work out a way to deploy SIMS via SCCM. Has anyone got any experience with this at all?
As it stands I've currently got a nice batch file which when run calls the setup files on the SIMS Server and copies the connect.ini and sims.ini to the relevant locations on the computer it's run from. When I call this by hand it runs as expected and everyone is happy :)
I've created a package in SCCM which will contains the batch file. I've deployed the package out to software center to test it installs. When I "install" the package the batch file runs however I'm given a load of "access denied" messages within the batch file when is running! Obviously whatever is invoking the batch file doesn't have the relevant permissions to access the setup files on the SIMS Server but does anyone have any idea of where I should be looking to try and fix the issue and how I can make sure it installs a-ok?
Hope someone can help as would like to get this sorted out tomorrow.
