unattend.xml UK Keyboard
I have a wds set up and can image just by selecting a image and it renames and everything automatically but what settings do I need for a UK keyboard and UK settings I've tried en-UK, en-GB. in the x86_Microsoft-Windows-International-Core__neutral in oobe. but not mater what combination i put in i just get en-US. :(
i don't think my manager would go for we need to buy all US keyboards. :D
ok bit further I can now get it to display a language on the login screen and manually select UK but I want just UK
i found that if you set this as a global rules for the entire MDT share it takes the values without the need to select as part of the install.
not sure if this is how your supposed to do it but was the work around that i used.
i was specifying local values in my unattend.xml and it was ignoring me.
MS do post a list of the all the number codes for location and language on technet
part of my MDT Share rule section
TimeZoneName=GMT Standard Time
This is the section from my file if it's any help
<component name="Microsoft-Windows-International-Core" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
In the specialize pass of your unattend.xml, make sure the following is set:
I also add
<component name="Microsoft-Windows-International-Core" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="Error" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
to the oobeSystem pass
Let me know if you need the 32-bit versions
I'd found the 0809:00000809 code and tried in different places but I hadn't added the x86_Microsoft-Windows-International-Core__neutral in the specialize pass.
Thank you for your help. wds has being doing my head in all week. but I've finally finished it. i think :D
