I've got a few machines that are being used which I created an image using Clonezilla. One of the Hard drives has failed and I want to replace it but I only have smaller HDD to replace it with. Unfortunately when I try and restore the image I keep getting an error telling me the HDD is too small and the restore fails. The HDD is big enough for the image but as it's smaller than the original Hard drive I used to create the image the restore fails.

I've tried preventing Clonezilla checking the HDD size but it still fails as apparently it cant create the partition table on the smaller disk. Is there anyway I can get the image onto a smaller HDD or am I going to need to create a new image?
