    Fog Issues

    Hello I am new to edugeek and trialing FOG and or MDT as part of a new imaging system for Windows 7.

    However I am stuck on FOG which is the latest version. Ubuntu is the latest stable version.

    The issue is I can't seem to get connectivity. I have assigned a static IP address, dns, blabla. I have addedd proxy/user/pass to the system wide settings though not through any command lines. On installation of FOG it gets stuck on Apache and does not install. I think this is due to no network, even though I can ping it. Any suggestions?

    If you have internet access but apt can't connect try creating the file /etc/apt.conf and the proxy definition there:

    Code:
    Acquire {
    Retries "0";
    HTTP {
    Proxy "http://my.proxy.com:port";
    };
    };

    Firefox has it's own proxy settings, try just opening a terminal and typing "ping google.com"
