Install script stalled at php-gettext (Centos)

Timed my switch to fog along with the .29 release so not sure if this is possibly a .29 issue - more likely something is pearshaped with my php install - anyway the fog install keeps quitting:

    Code:
     Installation Started...

Installing required packages, if this fails
make sure you have an active internet connection.

This 'seems' like a false positive as it should be already installed so that would be why the 'confirming package installation' returns bad. Anyway I can't figure out why the script is not detecting php-gettext:

    Code:
    yum resolvedep php-gettext
    Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, priorities
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile

    0:php-common-5.1.6-27.el5.x86_64
    Code:
    # rpm -qa | grep php
    php-gd-5.1.6-27.el5
    php-common-5.1.6-27.el5
    php-5.1.6-27.el5
    php-pdo-5.1.6-27.el5
    php-cli-5.1.6-27.el5
I believe get-text is part of common so, i'm confused as heck; does the script do any logging?

    *edit*
