Idiots Guide .... please!!
Hello All.
As I am new to IMacs, I am looking to get a fast track route in - can anyone recommend a good website or book that can do this? I'm used to everything Windows and am struggling with the differences. I need to know things like:
How do you eject a CD/DVD?
How do I explore the contents of a CD/DVD?
How do I create an image of an IMac that can be transferred to another IMac?
How do I maximise a screen?
How do I install a printer?
Sorry - I feel really dumb!!

1. In Finder (smiley face left of Dock): click on the 'eject' icon next to the CD
1. (on some laptops) Press [F12]
2. If the icon doesn't appear on the Desktop (doesn't on my Mac's). Go into 'Finder' via the smiley face icon to the left of the 'Dock'
5. Plug it into the USB port?

Thanks guys. Couple of things tho'
When I insert the DVD, nothing happens - I dont get an icon on the dekstop - however, if I shutdown and restart, I do!! Is there something I have to do to make the Mac "open a windows" when the disk is installed? Good news - can now eject the CD!!!
How do I create a shortcut on the desktop?
