Use the floppy image to get the CD Drive going. Then once you have access to the CD, you can carry on as normal.
Well I was thinking of trying to get it to PXE boot the ISO on the CD so that it starts the PING program? Any ideas on achieving this?
Wes

I don't think you can PXE boot ISO's but it's definitely possible to PXE boot DOS bootdisks.
I've created a bootable linux CD from an ISO and I'd like to use that as a PXE boot option. Sorry I didn't make myself very clear.
Wes

our tftpserver has this section /tftpboot/pxelinux.cfg
for PXE booting floppies, but like I really don't think it can be done with ISO'sCode:LABEL WindowsBootDisk MENU HIDE MENU LABEL ^MS DOS 6.22 KERNEL memdisk APPEND initrd=windows/Dos6.22.img
It wouldn't be done with ISOs just what was on the cd after the ISO was burned to it. I'm using Ghost Solution Suite as the PXE server just wondered if anyone knew how to set this one up?
Wes
put your ISO image in to the Microsoft RIS wizard. ive tested this with BART PE, will try it with others.
Wes,
There is a certain PXE-based program that you might be thinking of buyingthat could boot Linux directly into a RAM disk.
Do you have to boot the Linux ISO, or is it simply an environment to run a (PING?) program?
Martin
Well just needs to PXE boot for clonezilla I use the PXE server that was in Ghost Solution Suite 1.1 (powerquests I believe).
