    Next steps using MDT

    Hi Everyone,
So I have been playing with MDT and have successfully worked out how to deploy Windows 7 and all the drivers for my devices, I have all the steps populate through the install including setting desktop resolution\joining the domain\setting all keyboard settings and local info then reboot at the end. My query is I have 2 types of PC all the drivers install fine for both and install the appropriate application along with it for instance the Asus hotkey utility required for some of the function keys to work on my laptops.
Each device type has an application that needs to be installed, can I somehow have the required application install automatically for each PC type?

    Thanks

You'd need to look at the database functions..

These can call a WMI query for the make and model of the PC which you can then link to a role containing the application installs for that particular desktop.

you can be quite clever with database so mac id 123456789012 = pc001 in ou . . . install x/y/z so pretty much f12 to start process then go away no further input required but im not sure the setup time is less than doing it a bit less manually
