IOS & Android deployment?
Anyone in here know a software that can deploy from the computer to iPads and Android tablets? For install the apps at once and such.
Thanks in advanced,

I have not done any research on android yet, it is something I am curious about though.
for IOS apple configuator will deploy apps to IOS but only if you are connected via USB.
This past summer I tried various MDM tools to push apple apps, that all claimed they could. In reality they can only push home grown apps, for apps purchased in the app store or via VPP the user is prompted for the iTunes account password.
This is not ideal for schools.
I have heard that IOS 6 address this and you can push apps with no prompts to the end user. If someone can confirm this I would appreciate it.

This works well - not used it on mass but for around 20 devices

SCCM 2012 SP1 can deploy to both. From what I can tell it does them both better than Windows8 'mui' apps, by allowing links to the stores and actual applications to be deployed.
Not available yet, not personally tested either. Don't know about user prompts.
Expected early 2013.

I believe the support is there, but not all MDMs implement it yet. Meraki certainly didn't when I set up our iPads last month.

Me too but I hate the prompts up every time when you install a app on each ipad. Any idea how to bypass that prompt?
