So, is anyone else using the new netsweeper filtering that Wirral have made available recently ?
Cause, if not the RM one gets switched off on Friday. So far, we have found it slow, which isn't good considering the RM one was pants too.
It does have some decent reporing though, I can get daily/weekly/monthly reports emailed to me... oh, look the top 10 websites are:
update.microsoft.com
microsoftupdates.com
<our home page>
Google
cps.qcaaps.co.uk
... really, well that's useful...

Still, it gets better, yesterdays daily usage allowed (formatting whacked a bit):
URI Host Total Pages
tbn0.google.com 5393
www.google.co.uk 1289
mt2.google.com 1207
mt0.google.com 1205
mt3.google.com 1195
mt1.google.com 1194
update.microsoft.com 934
en.wikipedia.org 741
10.36.56.9 722
images.google.co.uk 564
Other 14410
Total 28854
Yeah, still great.. (the IP address is our internal proxy server).
And the denied list:
URI Host Total Pages
goal.adbureau.net 226
iacas.adbureau.net 55
media.adrevolver.com 38
pagead2.googlesyndication.com 34
ads.adviva.net 27
ad.uk.doubleclick.net 20
lc2.bay0.hotmail.passport.com 19
ad.yieldmanager.com 17
www.google.co.uk 15
ads.guardian.co.uk 14
Other 203
Total 668
Which begs the question, why is www.google.co.uk allowed, yet www.google.co.uk is blocked....
