I think the current concern that links my area (Bolton) with another of the NWLG members is the BSF bid, which was made by Blackburn, and our LEA has jumped in with. Obviously this has implications for ICT bods in both areas.

Our LEA is in the process of swapping their internet connection from a commercial provider to a janet/nwlg connection - this aside, what does it mean for us as a school to be in the NWLG? ie are there any benefits?
Not that I know of...
According to my LA, who provide Web Access (they call it internet, but only Web, FTP and certain Email protocols work), we have a direct connection to the NWLG.

Me & Beeswax get our internet through a local CLC and then they get it from ZEN. What does this mean?
