IWB/Interactive projector options for Ubuntu
Hi,
Not sure if I should be posting here or in the AV forum but we are looking for IWB/whiteboard experiences with Ubuntu for Primary use.
Was looking at Smart LightRaise using the linux version of their Notebook software but apparently it's not compatible, so need to find some alternatives.
Anyone using Epson interactive projectors and are you using any other linux IWB software with them?
I've seen TeachWiz, RM EasiTeach have Ubuntu versions as do Smart and Promethean but their new licensing makes them way too expensive.
Any other options?
Thanks.

Don't worry about the IWB software each manufacturer provides, just look at the drivers available - if the IWB/interactive projector can be plugged in and acts as a USB mouse as far as the PC is concerned then that's really all you need. Sankore is a good bit of universal IWB software (website is mostly in French):

To update my own question I looked at all of the following linux/Ubuntu software options to drive various options of projector/interactive projector
Sankore
Smart Notebook
Promethean ActivInspire
RM Easiteach
Lynx software
WizTeach
Smart have said their Notebook 11 software for linux is being released in Q3 to support their own LightRaise interactive projector and I notice that there seems to be a place holder on their download page for a new download option.
