Must be nearly 10 years since I tried LTSP...

Does it get DHCP? that's the first step in the process. Have you got more than one DHCP server on the physical network segment?

Does it have an unusual network card?

If it gets 1st stage DHCP and then fails then the most likly cause ( if other machines are fine) is a driver issue for the NIC.

Yeah that's STOCK but you need to check the boot image in tftpboot supports it ( can't see it not supporting it )

    What actualy happens?

As i say it's a fair old time since I last used ltsp ( although I did use tftpboot for booting a MYTHTV diskless frontend last year) .

    Any TFTP loggs.

LTSP project should list somwhere the drivers in the build, it may be another pice of hardware that's not supported too. Have you tried a third different system?

    Logs in

    /var/log/

messages is the place to start, you may have a tftp log as well depending on how syslog is running.

    what distro is it on?
