Hi,
Does anyone know where I put a login script in Gnome2 ?
I don't mean a .bashrc. I need something that runs as a script for the logged in user when they log in to gnome.
Startup applications just puts a .desktop file into .config/autostart.
I suppose I could link the .desktop file to a script but what is a more elegant solution please ?
TIA

14th June 2012, 09:02 PM #2 I think I fixed it. It seems .bashrc does work on gnome login, not just when running a bash shell as I presumed.
I had mistakenly set the login shell to /bin/sh which is where I got confused.
