- Rep Power
Unfortunately not that I know - but I'd like point you towards FreeRDP (get at least 1.0) and later which has shown a much
higher pace of development compared to rdesktop. They're actually demanding for USB redirection, but it's not yet done: FreeRDP – Thinstuff Summer of Code 2012
It's a complete rewrite of rdesktop and supports more modern RDP functions like better encryption, Network Level Authentication
(NLA) or even RemoteFC, all stuff rdesktop can't do. I generally have better stability with FreeRDP and never looked back to rdesktop
once I discovered FreeRDP.

Thanks for the reply, koffi2k. the main item I'm looking for is the usb redirection but have also noticed a hiccup with my current ltsp setup. Some thin clients appear to freeze after 10-15 seconds if the credentials aren't entered quick enough. strange right? I'm now curious if this is a problem with rdesktop now.
Is it easy to replace rdesktop with freerdp on the ltsp server? We are a small school so any changes i make go directly on to the live server.
