I'm having a bit of a headache backing up my system.
How does everyone else do it?
I've tried installing mondo on ubuntu but I need to install compliers to do that, can I get the compliers installed :? but thats another story
any help would be appreciated

If its just Joomla you want to backup you need to backup the folder that joomla is in eg \htdocs\www and export the database to an .sql file

There's an excellent component for Joomla called Joomlapack with will take care of this for you... just google it...

Looked at joomlapack seems to do the job
Has anybody actually restored a joomla site using this?
