I followed the instructions from here:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/fo...er/apache2/SSL
which seemed to work ok, but If I try to access any page via https I get a page not found error.
Have I missed something obvious?

Now I've tried this:
https://help.ubuntu.com/6.06/ubuntu/...e/C/httpd.html
Which is similar but the Key generation process is different. Now when I restart Apache it asks me for my pass key and that is successful but I still get "Could not connect to host localhost." when I try to access https://....
I'm a complete plonker, spot the error
NameVirtualHost *:443
<VirtualHost *:433>
Doh!!
Linux problems usually turn out to be PEBCAK in my experience.![]()
I think in my case it is more like PEBEAB; "problem exists between eyes and brain"
