Installing Linux
Right I have a problem.
I have a "test"machine that I usually test web software on. I am trying to install Linux SUSE that I downloaded and imaged onto disks. It has Windows 98 & XP installed atm.
When I try to boot from the disk it does not seem to work. I put the disk in and rebooted, I then went into the bios but it doesn't seem to recognise the CD Drive. I then tried unplugging the HD and rebooting, that just didn't boot.
Has anyone got any suggestions as to how I can get this to work?

Does the CD you burned work in another computer? Do other bootable CDs work in that test machine?

It's best to check the md5sum against your download to make sure it's not corrupt.
