    DansGuardian without local Squid

    OK it sounds stupid but can it be done. Can you just point DG on one box to a proxy on another.

    Could you, horror of horrors, even use ISA as your proxy muhahaha!

    Yes. That will work fine as far as I'm aware. You just need to point it at the upstream proxy.
