Wow! Thanks for the link russdev.

We have a resident unix/Linux guru who has spearheaded many open source projects county wide. He just happens to be a manager in our central IT dept. although he seems to have no allocated time he makes time to keep in touch with us lowly school techs and helps out at every opportunity.

Whilst a primay school governor he wrote schoolsweb - a simplified CMS that all primaries, and a couple of high schools have installed.

He was key in providing a bespoke email system which has now progressed to our current squirrelmail system
