26th May 2009, 01:20 PM #3 Unfortunatly i wish to use shockwave media, and there is no available plugin for the firefox i am currently using.
The only way i have managed to find is to install firefox for windows and then continue to install shockwave for windows via wine also.
Unless you know of another way?
Thanks,

26th May 2009, 01:37 PM #6 Sounds like a corrupt download. Get the exe again and make sure it comes from a different mirror this time.

26th May 2009, 01:58 PM #8 worked a treat, however the problem was not the file it was me,
In a moment of pure stupidy i attempted to install the exe directly,
instead of taking the time out to think for a moment and right click, running it through windows installer, and NOT archive manager.
Im sorry i dont know what came over me, basic principles and i forgot!
Thanks all the same.
