5th February 2009, 03:16 PM #1 Setting up external email on zimbra?
Sorry to ask another zimbra question but looking through the admin docs on zimbra has left me feeling useless, or more useless that normal!
I am trying to test my installation to see if i can get it to sends and receive emails to the "real" world.
I have an external ip address and an mxrecord but I cannot see what I need to do to get these working.
I have added a domain - mail.tayna.eu (a spare one I have)
BUT I dont knonw wher to put these bits of info into the general info tab?
Could someone give me a hint?
Thanks

5th February 2009, 05:07 PM #2 You just need to set up the relevant MX record (allow DNS time to propogate) and then configure a pinhole/port redirect through your firewall to port 25 on that server and the mail should just arrive.

I'll give it til tomorrow as the mxrecord was only set up at about 12:00 today.
Thanks
