I'm pleased they've made the decision to stay with the superior KDE 3.5 - 4.1 just looks so dull and flaky, a bit like the OS X interface.

I prefer the Ubuntu-based distros (Mint at the moment) as the package repositories and package management is second to none - APT + debs are just so much better than YUM and/or rpms.

Will definitely have a go of PCLOS2009 though.

That's the great thing about the choice available... if one doesn't work, another is likely to where others fail. There's bound to be a distro out there for everyone

I've used it in the past with great success and recommend it for newbies to Linux.
