Ok really daft questions, but it's the New Year.
Firstly have set up my SG2008, have mapped groups to our AD but when I try and surf it just drops me into 'Default Users' group - have I missed anything out?
Also do the 'mods' for SG2/3 work on SG2008?

6th January 2009, 01:49 PM #2 I wouldnt try mods at that will undoubtedly affect your support. You can request new things though. As for your users all going into default, you need to check they are definately a member of your included groups and that the correct mapping between your AD groups and filter groups is happening on the the next tab.

Which mods would you have liked to add? I'm deciding the next-but-one feature pack

We always have tons more features than we have bodies to develop/test them - but it is always nice to know what's needed most. Come and visit us at BETT and I will have a few betas from Feature pack 2...

6th January 2009, 06:38 PM #7 Hey Tom,
Yep it recognises me no problems (I'm using IDENT), but doesn't want to play ball with my grouping.
One feature I'd really like to the ability to see what's in the downloaded blocklists/ banned phrases and be able to edit them easily.

6th January 2009, 06:47 PM #8 Hmmm - best ask tech support - they'll be able to spot it, I am sure.
As for "see the lists"... we will be allowing people to add (and maybe remove?) sites from the "inbuilt" lists at some point soon. In terms of the phraselists... they are sufficiently finely balanced that it is probably not a good idea to edit them, though you can add your own (custom categories). If you have specific issues, give me a bell/email and I will sort it out.
Tom

7th January 2009, 12:33 PM #9 Thanks Tom will do. Even just seeing the lists/phrases would be outstanding
