Cups Web Interface
Ive installed cupsys on debian etch and allowed my computer access to it in the web interface conf. When i try to access it it asks me to upgrade to ssl but the ssl page doesnt load. When i look in the /etc/cups/ssl/ directory there is no server certificates or anything and also if i look in the error_log while in debug it just sticks at Generating Server Key...
Is there a way of turning off the SSL requirement on the web interface

16th September 2008, 10:32 AM #2 I think this might work...
nano /etc/cups/cupsd.conf
and scroll down till you find
<Location /admin>
Encryption Required
Order allow,deny
</Location>
and put a # in front of the encryption line
ctrl + x to exit nano, and Y to save
Then restart cupsd
That should do the trick i think
PS: just going to https://localhost:631 should work
(you might need to install openssl if its not on the system already)
