Hi
I have an ASUS 4gb with the OS that came with it... no desktop and no way i can see of looking at the disks..
I have jsut bought a T-Mobile Broadband dongle and it doesn't auto install like in XP to get the Web n walk manager on the desktop..
How can I install the software..

24th August 2008, 12:41 PM #2 You can enable the advanced desktop if that's the route you want to take. Instructions are available here.
Failing that, you might want to install ubuntu or something similar as I found the Xandros distro that comes with the eee to be awfully restrictive.
If you still can't get it to work, plug it in and nip into a terminal and issue lsusb and paste the response back here.

Thanks mate... it all seems a bit of a schlep... I think I'll bin this and get a Stone Mini Laptop with XP Pro :-)
