5th time lucky
Hi all,
Ok its 5th time lucky with my attempt to get on with linux. I've tried suse and various versions of ubuntu. I recently found ubuntu studio, installed it on a virtual machine and found it to be quicker and nicer looking than the regular ubuntu. So i took the plunge and wiped my laptop and dual booted it with XP, that was yesterday and i've not even booted into windows yet......im loving ubuntu.
So my question is what are good apps to have? I've installed OpenOffice and TS client and Virtualbox to install a windows box to access sims etc Any other tips?
Mike

GIMP for graphics, incase you're ever pestered to do something for a member of staff and the likes.
Theres an alternate application to pretty much every Microsoft application, and or other programs.
