    ip cop - help

    Hi guys

    just wanted a bit of help. im a bit confused in what i need to use when setting up the network cards?

    do i need to set up 2 Nics? and what do i use? green and red? green orange? etc

    what we want this for is to be able to block site quicker than the lea!!as it takes days/weeks for them to do it. we do go though a proxy etc if thats any help?

    You need 2 network interfaces, green and red. Red being the external interface, green being the internal. These interfaces must be on separate subnets/IP ranges (so if red was on 192.168.1.x, green would need to be on something else, such as 192.168.2.x). This is so it can route properly.

    If you're just proxying it may be easier to just use 1 NIC.

    IPCop can't, out of the box, do 1 NIC operation.
